I hear ya on the love/hate relationship. ...Welcome.<br />I hear ya on the love/hate relationship. Sometimes I struggle to grasp exactly why we use this unit/bar model drawing. I do find it interesting to see how different students draw different models, yet still get the correct answer. When they present their model, many times I am amazed by "How" they saw the problem.
