Tell Me Something Good!

This week seems to drag on FOREVER for me.  It was back to the grind (putting out fires and chasing kids) on Monday with students.  I would really like a day back before kids so that we can prepare.  I did go up to work one day on the break but that was just to clean off my desk.  The weather here was so cold and wet, no recess for a couple day....YIKES!  Actually, they were pretty well-behaved for the most part.  I'm sure I've jinxed it now.  I took a break from anything work related over the holiday break.  I needed that, but now I'm struggling to get motivated to do much of anything.  I am currently working on math puzzles - focusing on geometry and measurement for my teachers.  Next week, I'll start receiving boxes for the district testing the following week.  Spring always flies by since there's so much testing.

Something Good From School: We have another administrator on campus for the next couple months (till Spring Break, I hope), which helps me focus on testing stuff.  Now if I can just give up some control, and allow him to help me.  I am considering taking a day off, and may actually not have to worry that I am putting an extra burden on my admin team. 

Something Good From Home: Have I mentioned my new CAR!  I LOVE IT!!!! And I'll probably jinx it, but my baby has been back to wonderful sleeper for a good 5 days in a row.  Crossing my fingers that it'll last.
