Currently Movember!

Thank goodness Shocktober is OVER!  Not sure I was going to be able to survive any longer.  This week was packed full of training, inventory, full moon (behavior sucks at this time), and oh yes...Halloween.  My personal life....my hubby normally wears facial hair (looks a little like Edward Norton).  Well, it's Movember, therefore clean shaven now and started to grow a stashe that his teachers pick.  I'm a little nervous about this.  My girls weren't real sure who he was without his facial hair until he spoke up.  lol.  Here he is now.

I'm currently working on Math Wizards for my upper grades.  These lil gems are math riddles in which kiddos use their vocabulary knowledge and apply it to a riddle to come up with correct solution.  Here's a preview...
I'm making a checklist for my kiddos to test their answers too.

I'll upload it tonight for those interested!  I LOVE these riddles.

Something fun (my first time to participate - I hope I do it right)

  1. I'm with you on the housekeeper. I want a maid or a fairy godmother.

    1. I used to have a cleaning service but she kept setting my house alarm off, drove me nuts! She did clean well though...hmmm maybe I should call her. The police should just ignore my alarm on the second wednesday of the month. lol

  2. Awesome post! Your hubs is adorable. I don't remember meeting him. Was he at the Christmas party? Maybe it was the facial hair thing. ha ha! Your unit looks fabulous!!!

    1. He came but I practically require the facial hair. lol. He is very reserved when we are around people. He and I are perfect for each other. I always want to be center stage, he'd rather work the curtain. Wonder what we are going to do this year for a party, perhaps at Jan's neighborhood clubhouse. Let's make Wersty plan it...lol
      Thanks

    1. Thanks. I LOVE her work, most of my units have her illistrations. My friend, Reagan - Tunstall Teaching Tidbits, sent me her way. I sent my pic and she got it perfect! She is doing some freebies the next couple days, and they are Christmas!
I tried to find exactly where to link it to Common Core, but wasn't sure exactly how to reference it. I really need to look more closely at that.
Welcome - btw...love your blog title (so true)
